About Me
I'm Heather—a mom to four amazing girls, a Mimi to twin grandbabies, and wife to a guy who still makes me laugh every single day. Our home is always full of life with two rescue dogs, a delightfully spicy senior cat who believes she's in charge, and the newest member of the family—a sweet Holland Lop rabbit.
After years of photographing families, newborns, and milestones of every kind, I discovered where my heart truly belongs: creating fine art school portraits that celebrate childhood in an authentic and timeless way.
Photography has been my passion since 2014, but what truly shapes my approach is my background in child development. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Child, Adolescent & Family Studies and have taught preschool, first grade, and fifth grade. Those experiences taught me that every child is wonderfully unique, and I've built my photography around helping children feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely themselves in front of the camera.
Picture day shouldn't feel rushed or impersonal. My goal is to create a calm, child-centered experience where every child feels seen and valued. Whether it's a preschooler proudly showing off a toothless grin or an elementary student whose personality shines through a quiet smile, I believe those authentic moments are the ones families treasure most.
My portraits are simple, timeless, and focused entirely on the child. No distracting props. No trendy edits. Just beautiful light, genuine expressions, and photographs that will still feel just as meaningful decades from now.
Thank you for being here. It is truly an honor to partner with schools and preserve these fleeting moments of childhood for the families you serve.
Let's create a picture day your school—and your families—will love.
